Jo is an academic social scientist working in rural medicine. Her research interests are women in medicine, and particularly women as rural doctors. Jo convenes the Gender Working Party of the Curriculum Committee of the Faculty of Medicine at Monash University, and in this role is working to mainstream a gender perspective into medical curriculum.
