Joanne Neille works in the Speech Therapy department at the University of the Witwatersrand. In 2013 she completed her PhD which explored the lived expereinces of adults with disabilities living in a rural South African community. Her research interests include rural development, the impact of context and culture on health, the implementation of policies and practices, specifically in rural areas, and disability.
