Liam Glynn


Liam qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1995 and, after finishing his vocational training in General Practice in the Scottish highlands, he returned to Galway where he completed the Senior Registrar scheme in General Practice. In November, 2004 he was appointed Lecturer in Primary Care at NUI, Galway and has completed an MD in cardiovascular and renal disease in the community. He is also on the editorial board of Forum, the journal of the Irish College of General Practitioners. His primary research interests are cardiovascular multimorbidity, innovations in medical education and access to healthcare in rural general practice. Liam works as a partner in a rural practice in Ballyvaughan, Co Clare in the West of Ireland.
