Marilyn Luptak, PhD, MSW, is a John A Hartford Faculty Scholar in Geriatric Social Work and Assistant Professor in the College of Social Work at the University of Utah. Dr. Luptak's research agenda involves several major areas of investigation with a unifying theme of improving the health and well-being of vulnerable elders and their families. Current areas of investigation include mental health issues of older adults, needs of older veterans and their families in rural areas, international aging-related workforce issues and care at the end of life.
