I am an Associate Professor at the University of North Dakota College of Nursing, Grand Forks, North Dakota and the Chronic Disease Coordinator at Migrant Health Service, Inc. in Moorhead, Minnesota. I have developed a program of research and scholarly activities that focuses on the health care needs of the Hispanic migrant and seasonal farmworker population with chronic disease. At Migrant Health Service, Inc., I developed and implemented the Chronic Disease Program to provide a new level of care and service for the Hispanic migrant and seasonal farm worker population though regional and national collaborations.
