
Dr Katinka van de Ven is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology, UNE, and a Visiting Fellow as part of the Drug Policy Modelling Program (DPMP), UNSW. She conducts research in relation to alcohol and other drug treatment services systems, amongst others around procurement arrangements, workforce, client outcomes and COVID-19. Katinka also specialises in the use and supply of performance and image enhancing drugs (PIEDs), and its regulation, which includes projects focused on improving health services for people who use non-prescribed steroids and other enhancement drugs, harm reduction policies, and organised crime groups.
