Dr Robyn Nayda is a registered nurse and midwife with expertise and interest in the welfare of children. She has extensive experience as a consultant in child protection and works with a broad range of professionals who are mandated notifiers of child abuse or who may have contact with abused children. Dr. Nayda has conducted a number of studies related to the welfare of children and their families, including the experiences of mothers whose children have been sexually abused and registered nurses' experiences and communication about abused children. Dr Nayda has an interest in Rural nursing issues. Dr. Nayda is a Senior Lecturer in the Division of Health Sciences at the University of South Australia and an accredited trainer of mandated notification with Families SA.
