I am a biomedical researcher interested in the psychoneuroimmunology of chronic diseases; and the prevention and intervention of chronic diseases using mind-body therapies. I am a founding member of the Indiana Rural Health Association and served as its president. I am also interested in the develoopment of educational programs that specifically target the health care needs of rural communities.
