I am the Medical Director of a large public microbiology diagnostic laboratory in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. I am also the Founder and Medical Director of the Australian Rickettsial Reference Laboratory, based in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. My interests are in microbial laboratory diagnoses and research into infectious diseases, especially rickettsial diseases and Q Fever.
