I joined the University of Ibadan in 2008, with a remit to conduct research. I have also been rendering clinical services at the Children Emergency Unit of the University College Hospital, Ibadan as Consultant Paediatrician since 2007. Child Health is such an exciting field with an immeasurable potential for making positive change. My educational background and extracurricular experiences have sufficiently equipped me to achieve my desire to make significant impact. I have broaden my influence beyond the confine of the hospitals/clinics by advancing my career through further studies in Epidemiology and Clinical Trials at University of Ibadan, Nigeria and University of London (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine), respectively. My research interest spans the areas of clinical epidemiology of childhood diseases including malaria and other infectious diseases as well as clinical trials of health interventions. I currently teach Medical Undergraduates and Postgraduates Students at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and still seeking opportunities to carry out more research relating to child health and paediatric epidemiology as well as clinical trials.
