Dr. Rebecca Schiff is Professor and Chair in the Department of Health Sciences at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Rebecca has a long history of working closely with rural, remote, and Indigenous communities to investigate and research health issues and solutions, with a particular focus on social determinants of health and intersections between health and sustainability. She is grateful to live and work in the area of the Robinson Superior Treaty of 1850, traditional territory of the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Pottawatomi nations and traditional lands of Fort William First Nation.
