Dr Ahmad Akmal Ahmad Nizam

I am a medical doctor and DrPH candidate specialising in health economics, maternal health, and Indigenous and rural health equity. My doctoral research applies a cost-utility analysis of maternal health service delivery models for Indigenous populations in Malaysia, measuring outcomes in QALYs. I also have experience in epidemiology, registry-based analyses, and economic modelling, with a focus on advancing equitable, culturally respectful, and sustainable public health policies.
