Koustuv Dalal, PhD (born and educated in India) is a health economist and course coordinator of Master program of Health Economics and Health Promotion, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. Currently Koustuv is also working as Senior Health Economist at the Linkoping University, Sweden. Cost calculation and economic analysis (including economic evaluation) of injuries, HIV and disease treatments are his research interest. Koustuv has research collaboration in 18 countries including India, Bangladesh, Mozambique and South Africa for cost and economic analysis of injuries, HIV and diseases. He is also the editor of 'WHO Safe Community Monthly News'. Koustuv is in sevarl advisory boards of injury prevention activities in different countries.
