My PhD related to pharmacologic treatment of traumatic brain injury. For the past five years I have worked at the Townsville Aboriginal and Islander Health Services. This work has included managing child and adult programs aimed at improving lifestyle behaviours such as nutritional intake and physical activity. I also implement a rural health support education and training program for our health workers. Recently, I have started co-ordinating a foetal alcohol syndrome and smoking cessation program for our maternal and child health section.
