Dr.Teresa Seright, FNP-BC,PhD, CNE is a Full Professor at University of Providence. A HERS leadership alumna, she engages in leadership service to the profession on the CCNE accreditation team, Montana Simulation in Motion advisory board member, and Gallatin Valley Family Promise. Her 36 year career includes demonstrated effectiveness in LEADERSHIP in healthcare, and higher education; TEACHING in chronic and palliative care, pathophysiology, nursing leadership, and critical care content; EXPERTISE in clinical practice in critical care (CCRN); and SERVICE to professional and community organizations. She has lead and collaborated on initiatives in healthcare settings and higher education settings, including: establishing parity in care for sexual assault victims presenting to rural hospitals; improving ER wait times and flow; self-scheduling for ER nurses; clinical compliance in nursing students; student-centered and pro-active advisement; and program assessment. Research interests are: Rural Acute Care; Novice Nurse Decision Making; Critical Care in Critical Access Hospitals; Technology Enhanced Decision Making
