Prof Chris Rissel is at Flinders University as a Senior Research Fellow, based in Darwin, Northern Territory. He has a BSc(Psych)(Hons), MPH and PhD. He is an Honorary Professor at the University of Sydney and was previously the Director of the NSW Office of Preventive Health (responsible for implementing state-wide health programs). He is actively engaged in rural and remote health research, including workforce recruitment and retention, Aboriginal health and well-being, and health service evaluation and research.
