I head the Rural Health Unit, Medicine UNSW and was previously a GP in Bourke, North West NSW. My research activities involve rural medical curriculum, its development and evaluation and rural students, career promotion, selection and support. I also support the Indigenous Health Unit at UNSW and their curricular and student support activities. We help promote the Faculty links with our four rural clinical school campuses. We are also involved in supporting the fast expanding state and national rural health education and workforce networks.
